it's not too late for holiday cards | sandy | richmond, va family portrait photographer

I'll admit, Sandy had me a bit worried. Not because I thought she would knock out our power, make one of the trees in our backyard fall on our house, or cause Richmond to flood. 

I was worried that she would rip all the pretty fall leaves off the trees. 

Fall is in full effect here in Richmond, VA and I am loving it!

The trees are full of leaves that have turned amazing colors and that, my friends, makes for great photos. Sometimes, when I am out shooting fall portraits, I secretly wish that I had a fall wedding. I know that may sound crazy to some of you that have had to peel me off the beach in the summer, but I mean come on, fall is beautiful in Richmond.

A few weeks ago I met up with one of my favorite Richmond families for our annual photo shoot. You guys may remember Colin and Brennan from our session at Maymont last fall, but this year, we decided to meet near Brown's Island.
